Since Nightfall is ALOT bigger than Factions as far as I can see it should take me longer to complete it. I'm also aiming to take my time and complete it slower, absorbing of the environment more along the way. I'm not going to rush like a madman.

I didn't "rush" through Factions but I still finished it on a Tyrian character in just over a week. Mostly due to my playing a fair amount. I still finished all the quests etc. It was kind of annoying at times due to the lack of people available for missions. Now with heroes, this will not be a problem perhaps giving people more incentive to get to the end quickly. I sold an exalted aegis for 100k last time around.

I'll probably go through it pretty fast again. My warrior will be arriving immediately and mowing down the opposition. With the addition of a solid hero monk backline this will make life even easier. I'm hoping they ramp up the difficulty to balance that out.

I rushed through Factions with henchmen on all but 3 of the missions and killed Shiro during the preview event. I'm not going to rush it per se - more so I'm just going to keep playing through it and try to enjoy it for what it is. All I want is for it to be a little longer and less grind for the sake of grind that Factions is.

Also, I don't feel pressured to rush through it because I'll probably finish it in 2-3 days if it really is longer and more in-depth. (although it is fun to be the first person in your region to enter a town :3)

Well no matter how fast anyone rushes through all the areas and all the drops and everything you will possibly see has already been seen and tested by someone else before you got there.. (unless you designed it maybe).

So whats the hurry. The game is old enough now thaat seeing a lvl 20 doesn't make people go gaga anymore..

I am quite keen to see just how far the weopons can be customized tho.

Farming = what I do when I run out of game content to play.

Hence, I'm going to put it off for as long as possible lol!

My PvP-ready PvE monk cannot be fully ready (and flexible) for GvG unless I have unlocked all the new skills, so I will need to rush through as much as possible to unlock as many new skills as possible. Couple that with the fact that I don't like PvE much and got bored quickly in the beta event so I have little incentive to stick around longer. I can take my time the second time through as I test out various Paragon builds.

I don't think i would. I knew some peoples who could probably beat it within few days. But for me (both Factions and Tyria) I took my time leveling up and doing quests and missions. Not to mention farming around and exploring the land before beating it. It took me around 3 to 4 months to finally got around beating Shiro.

Yes and no

No because I plan on enjoying it and just playing when I can, well, and that I'm busy for the whole of release weekend, yes because I left factions a long time and there is noone in any of the missions, its making it impossible to do the later missions so I wish I'd got to them earlier.

If I were trying to write a bunch of FAQs I would.

But alas I suck at GW and it will take me some time to finish Prophesies and Factions. Every time I think there aren't any more quests I find some new area and get like 5 new quests. One of these days I'll actually have to complete the Jungle missions. That day hasn't yet come though. The Shiverpeaks are calling me and Elonia's allure is a pale thing now.

I'll take it slow. Very slow. Can't think of any reason to speed through it. Nothing at the end except the end and getting there is all the fun.

I'll just play it as I played the other chapters... doing all quests, exploring around... how much it'll take me to finish is largely dependant on how much time I have to play, how hard the game grabs me, and, of course, how large the game is.

With that said, I'll probably leave my tyrian and canthan characters on standby until I finish NF for the first time.

No, not at all even. I'm planning on getting Master's at everyone mission on my first try, and I'm also thinking of exploring all the places I can currently visit by doing quests there. This way I just go through the game doing three titles (Sunspear, Protector, Cartographer), which I want to get eventually anyway. Unless the places I am start to bore me of course, but I doubt it will, as Nightfall looks even better then the last two!
